ACCOMMODATION PAYMENTS

Is it possible to have an extra bed in the room?

It is possible to have connecting rooms from a premium deluxe room category onwards. The charges for an extra bed are €65 per extra bed. Please bear in mind that this is excluding city tax and breakfast.

Do all rooms have a river view?

Not all our rooms have river view. However, within all our room categories, except the superior room category, we provide the ability to choose ‘river view’ for an additional amount. This is subject to availability.

How do I adjust or cancel my reservation?

To cancel or adjust a reservation please contact us by e-mail or get in touch with us via the phone. Cancellation of a reservation is free of charge if hotel receives notification by 3 PM, one day (24 hours) prior to the arrival date. Please note that this is not applicable to non-refundable rates.

Can I request a late check-out and/or early check-in?

A late check-out or early check-in are available subject to availability. Be sure to inform our Reservations team of all requests so it can be noted and do the utmost in servicing all requests. To guarantee a late check-out or early check-in, a supplement of 50% of the latest room night rate is required. When guaranteed, you are allowed extend the stay until 6pm or check-in early from 3pm onwards at the prior day.

Is there a possibility to book connecting rooms?

The hotel has several rooms that can be connected. A separate entrance can be created in order to create a private combined entrance hall which makes individual guest rooms connect with each other. Please contact our reservations department by e-mail or get in touch with us via the phone, to book your connecting rooms.

Why do I receive a payment link prior to my stay?

If you have booked a stay at De L’Europe Amsterdam with a non-refundable rate, we send you a payment link right after your booking to confirm the booking. This payment link is sent, because the rate offers you a discount but requires payment at the moment of booking. Therefore, it is not possible to cancel or modify your reservation without charges. The payment link is valid for 72 hours.

What is the payment policy of De L’Europe?

A credit card guarantee is required for all room reservations. Upon arrival the card may be pre-authorized for room charges and incidentals. The pre-authorizations consist of the rate of the room nights plus an amount of 150 euros per night, up to a maximum of 450 euros. The pre-authorization will be released at check-out.

If you prefer to pay your booking upon arrival in cash, the payment of your room nights plus the supplement of 150 euros per room night (up to a maximum of 450 euros) will be asked as deposit. The unused portion of the deposit will be refunded at checkout. If the charges exceed the amount of the deposit, a supplement to the deposit will be requested during the stay. It is not possible to complete the payment of your stay upon departure.

Cash and all major credit card payments are accepted. We accept Apple Pay in our F&B outlets and will accept it for the hotel from the 1^st of April onwards.
