Assistant Bars Manager

The Assistant Bars Manager, together with the Bars Manager, is responsible for managing the entire operational process of Freddy’s Bar. Together with your team you ensure that our guests can relax just like Alfred ‘Freddy’ Heineken always did. Both in the Lounge and at Freddy’s, guests and locals can enjoy the best aperitif, digestif or drink. An important part of running this F&B product is that entrepreneurship is central. Commercially and financially you are responsible for running the product.

Your role at Freddy’s

Leading all service work taking place in the Bars and Lounge | Identifying commercial opportunities and thus applying improvements | Control, manage and ensure efficient purchasing costs | Take every opportunity to exceed guest satisfaction | Ensuring professional working relationships and open communication | Onboarding, training and coaching staff |  During shift also responsible as Manager on Duty | Ensuring a working environment where team spirit is beneficial | Maintaining good contacts within the F&B outlets and outside the organization.

What you’ll bring to Freddy’s

At least 6  years of Food & Beverage, of which 3 years specifically Bars, experience within a 5 star environment |  HBO (+) thinking level | Creative in coming up with solutions |  Passion to go for the best result together | Entrepreneurial mindset | Fluent in Dutch and English language in word and writing |  Extroverted and able to have conversations at all levels | Comfortable in a dynamic environment | Eye for detail | You like to do things differently.

Nice to have

Affinity with luxury lifestyle brands | Secondary/Higher Hotel School | Good knowledge of the city of Amsterdam.
