Director of Rooms

As Director of Rooms at De L’Europe (The HEINEKEN Company) you are fully responsible for all operational activities within the Guest Services, Back Office, Housekeeping & Technical Service departments. Within these departments, optimizing guest satisfaction is central. . In addition to the fact that it is your job to introduce guests to Original Amsterdam Luxury, you coordinate the work and ensure that the best result can be achieved as efficiently as possible. You understand the processes like no other and monitor and control them.

Coaching, supervising and coordinating the Rooms Division departments | Take every opportunity to exceed guest satisfaction | Connecting teams by ensuring strong communication flows | Senior role in the Leadership Team of De L’Europe | Managing the budgets | Taking the freedom to fill the role as it suits you | Exploiting and improving commercial opportunities and challenges | Creating a successful and enthusiastic working environment.

The ideal candidate

At least 10 years of work experience in various Rooms Division departments | HBO+ Thinking level |  Creative in coming up with solutions |  Passion to work together for the best result | Experience in 5 star hotels | Fluent in English language in word and writing | Comfortable in a dynamic environment | Eye for detail | You like to do things differently.

Nice to have

Mastering the Dutch language | A very positive energy | Experience working with LQA standards | Secondary/ Higher Hotel School | Good knowledge of the city of Amsterdam.
