Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper is in charge of housekeeping and managing the outsourced team. In this position you take care of both the development of the team and the presentation of the hotel and its inventory. You walk through the hotel with an eye for detail and ensure that all service standards are optimal to maximize the guest experience.

Coordinating the quality and activities of the Housekeeping department | In collaboration with the Director of Rooms, ensure the overall quality of the hotel services | Implementing efficiency-enhancing measures | Managing the outsourced partners and team | Ensuring good internal communication and a strong team spirit | Linen and uniform management | Adjusting problems and handling complaints | Taking care of decoration and flowers in the hotel | Preparation of internal reports and operational budgets.

the ideal candidate

At least 10 years of work experience in various Rooms Division departments | HBO+ Thinking level |  Creative in coming up with solutions | Passion to work together for the best result | Experience in 5 star hotels | Fluent in English language in word and writing | Comfortable in a dynamic environment | Eye for detail | You like to do things differently.

nice to have

Mastering the Dutch language | A very positive energy | Experience working with LQA standards |  Secondary/ Higher Hotel School | Good knowledge of the city of Amsterdam.
