Main duties & responsibilities
The laundry attendant provides laundry and pressing services to the guests of De L’Europe | You are in direct contact with the external dry-cleaning company, hotel guests and colleagues | Providing all colleagues with a perfectly laundered uniform and accommodate uniform fittings of new employees | Daily duties include washing, drying, ironing and folding of uniforms and guest garments | Keep a clear overview of the uniform stock and coordinate uniform repairs, replacements and new orders | Work both independently and in team to guarantee luxury laundry services to both hotel guests and colleagues | This is a physical role in which you must be able to stand for longer periods of time | You must be able to move packs of laundry or a linen trolley
This role is available for a full-time or part-time working week.
A team player who enjoys working in a luxury hotel environment | Speaks Dutch and/or English and is confident in communicating | No formal qualifications are required | Available to work in shifts (morning, afternoon and weekends) | A pro-active approach: you see what has to be done and you take responsibility for the assigned tasks | Previous (luxury) hotel experience is preferred but not required | Sewing skills are an advantage
