Manager Events, Marie Breakfast & IRD

The Manager of Events, Marie Breakfast & In-Room Dining is responsible for managing the entire operational process of the Outlets Events, Marie Breakfast & In-Room Dining. Together with your team you will lead all events in the right direction, give the guests the best breakfast experience and exceed all In-Room Dining expectations. In this position, close cooperation between all F&B outlets is essential for an efficient course of the service. It is therefore your job to ensure a culture in which open communication and clear division of tasks are central.

Your role at De L’Europe

Leading the Events, Marie Breakfast & In-Room Dining team | Identifying commercial opportunities and thereby applying improvements | Taking every opportunity to exceed guest satisfaction | Ensuring professional working relationships and open communication | Onboarding, training and coaching staff | During shift also responsible as Manager on Duty | Ensuring a working environment where team spirit is conducive | Maintaining good contacts within the F&B outlets and outside the organization

The ideal candidate

At least 5 years of Food & Beverage (Events) Management experience within a 5 star environment | HBO (+) thinking level | Creative in coming up with solutions | Passion to work together for the best result | Fluent in Dutch and English language in word and writing | Extroverted and able to have conversations at all levels | Comfortable in a dynamic environment | An eye for detail | You like to do things differently

Nice to have

Affinity with luxury lifestyle brands | Hotelschool/ International Hospitality Management | Good knowledge of French trade and menu terms | Good knowledge of the city of Amsterdam
