This makes De L\u2019Europe the first hotel in the Netherlands to receive such recognition, placing it among the world\u2019s top-rated hotels. The award was announced this week during the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Global Hotels Ceremony at the Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs in Paris.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The MICHELIN Keys are the hotel equivalent of the famous MICHELIN Stars for restaurants and highlight global recognition of excellence within the hospitality sector. Worldwide, there are only 143 hotels with Three Keys, 572 with Two Keys and 1,742 with One Key, located in extraordinary settings: from desert tents and glass cubes in forests, to historic riads and modern towers. The recognition underlines that De L\u2019Europe excels in the four evaluation criteria used by MICHELIN: local experience, architecture &amp; interior design, service &amp; personality, and value for money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br><strong>ACCORDING TO THE MICHELIN GUIDE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br>&#8220;One of Europe&#8217;s newest Three-Keys, De L&#8217;Europe is the classic European grand hotel. If it feels traditional, that&#8217;s because it is &#8211; continuing a legacy that began here on the banks of the canal in 1896. But this is no boutique canal house hotel, instead boasting a timeless luxury experience with a variety of distinctive styles in the accommodations and fine dining at Two-Star Flore.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><br>Robert-Jan Woltering, Managing Director, commented: &#8220;Over the past five years, with the redesign of De L\u2019Europe\u2019s interiors, we have redefined our positioning in the market, with a strong focus on our connection to the city of Amsterdam.
