What are the opening hours at De L’Europe Amsterdam?

    • De L’Europe Amsterdam is opened 24 hours a day and the reception is manned 24 hours a day as well.
    • Bord’Eau is opened from Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30 to 10:30 pm. We recommend making a reservation for Bord’Eau prior to the arrival, due to the exclusivity of the concept. Our concierge team would be more than happy to assist with making a reservation. Discover more about Bord’Eau here.
    • Marie. Breakfast in Marie is served daily from 7am to 11am. The brasserie & terrace (weather permitting) are opened daily for lunch and dinner from 12noon until 11pm. Discover more about Marie here.
    • Freddy’s Bar is opened daily from 3pm to 1am. Additionally, every Thursday and Friday our pianist gives Freddy’s its enchanting signature tunes, from 5pm onwards. Discover more about Freddy’s Bar here.

What is the children policy of De L’Europe Amsterdam?

Every age is warmly welcome at De L’Europe Amsterdam to experience an authentic stay. We also provide some benefits for the little ones:

    • Breakfast. Children with the age between 0 and 3 years, enjoy breakfast free of charge. The youngsters with an age between 4 and 8 years have breakfast for €19,50. For the guests with an age of 9 years or older, a breakfast is offered at the regular rate of €39.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?

Pets are not allowed at De L’Europe Amsterdam. However, exceptions are made for official service dogs, if the official documentations can be provided.

Is the hotel easily accessible?

De L’Europe Amsterdam is completely wheelchair friendly. There are four elevators in the hotel, including access to the spa, and all the restaurants offer wheelchair access except for the terrace. Furthermore, we have several easily accessible accommodation types that provide wider doors, adjustable sink heights and handrails. Please mention in your reservation if you would like to request an easily accessible guest room.

Is there a possibility to park my vehicle?

Our doormen are available 24 hours a day to park your car and assist with any other queries. The charges for our Valet Parking service are 65 euro per day (overnight). Please note that our parking has limited spaces available.

Our valet parking price starts at 20 euro for the first 2 hours. Any additional hour will cost 7.50 euro per hour, up to a maximum of 65 euro per day.

Should you wish to park your car yourself, the Stopera Parking Garage is the most convenient option starting from 2.50 euro per hour.

What are the transportation possibilities towards the hotel?

    • TAXI

Travel by taxi from Schiphol International Airport to the hotel will take you approximately 30 minutes. Fares depend on the type of taxi but should cost around 60 euro. A taxi from Amsterdam Central Train Station takes approximately 8 minutes and costs around 12 euro.


From the airport there is also a Connexxion Hotel Shuttle bus leaving every 30 minutes at the bus station in front of the airport. This shuttle (17.50 euro per person) will pass by all the major hotels, hence you will arrive in approximately 60 minutes here at our hotel. Please be informed, that the driver should be asked to stop at De L’Europe Amsterdam.


Trains run every 15 minutes between the airport and Amsterdam Central Station. This ride takes 17 minutes, and costs 4.30 euro. Train tickets can be arranged at the ticket machines in the Arrival Hall of the airport. From Amsterdam Central Station the most convenient way is to take the brand-new North-South metro line (nr. 52,stop: Rokin) or tram 4 & 24 (stop: Spui). The journey from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel takes 10 minutes, including a 1-minute walk.

Can I leave my luggage whilst exploring Amsterdam?

It is our pleasure to store the luggage of hotel guests in our locked luggage room prior and post their stay, in order to be able to explore Amsterdam to the fullest. Please be informed that no money, papers of value, securities, objects of value, fragile and perishable items are enclosed in the stored property. We provide our guests with a luggage label which they can hand in upon arrival/return, to collect their luggage.

Do you provide a De L’Europe Amsterdam gift voucher?

Is it possible to have an extra bed in the room?

It is possible to have an extra bed in the room from a premium deluxe room category onwards. The charges for an extra bed are €65 per extra bed. Please be informed that this is excluding city tax and breakfast.

Do all rooms have a river view?

Not all our rooms have river view. However, within all our room categories, except the superior room category, we provide the ability to choose ‘river view’ for an additional amount. This is subject to availability.

Is there a possibility to book connecting rooms?

The hotel has several rooms that can be connected.

A separate entrance can be created in order to create a private combined entrance hall which makes individual guest rooms connect with each other.Please contact our reservations department by e-mail or get in touch with us via the phone, to book your connecting rooms.

How do I adjust or cancel my reservation?

You can cancel or adjust your reservation via this link or you may contact us by e-mail or via the phone. Please keep the cancellation policy of your booking into account when adjusting/cancelling your reservation. Cancellation of a reservation is free of charge if hotel receives notification by 3pm, one day (24 hours) prior to the arrival date. Please note that this is not applicable to non-refundable rates

Can I request a late check-out and/or early check-in?

A late check-out or early check-in are available subject to availability. Be sure to inform our Reservations team of all requests so it can be noted for our team to do the utmost in servicing all requests. To guarantee a late check-out or early check-in, a supplement of 50% of the latest room night rate is required. When guaranteed, you are allowed to extend the stay until 6pm or check-in early from 3pm onwards at the prior day.

Why do I receive a payment link prior to my stay?

If you have booked a stay at De L’Europe Amsterdam with a non-refundable rate, we send you a payment link right after your booking to confirm your reservation. This payment link is sent, because the rate offers you a discount but requires payment at the time of booking. Therefore, it is not possible to cancel or modify your reservation without charges. The payment link is valid for 24 hours.

What are the payment methods of De L’Europe Amsterdam?

Cash and all major credit card payments are accepted. We accept Apple Pay from the 1st of January 2020 onwards.

What is the payment policy of De L’Europe?

A credit card guarantee is required for all room reservations. Upon arrival the card may be pre-authorized for room charges and incidentals. The pre-authorizations consist of the rate of the room nights plus an amount of 150 euro per night, up to a maximum of 450 euro. The pre-authorization will be released at check-out.

If you prefer to pay your booking upon arrival in cash, the payment of your room nights plus the supplement of 150 euro per room night (up to a maximum of 450 euro) will be asked as deposit. The unused portion of the deposit will be refunded at checkout. If the charges exceed the amount of the deposit, a supplement to the deposit will be requested during the stay. It is not possible to complete the payment of your stay upon departure.
