FIRST HOTEL IN THE NETHERLANDS AWARDED THREE MICHELIN KEYS

De L’Europe Amsterdam, one of the most iconic hotels in the Netherlands, has reached a new milestone: it has been awarded Three MICHELIN Keys by the MICHELIN Guide – the highest distinction within this international hotel rating system. This makes De L’Europe the first hotel in the Netherlands to receive such recognition, placing it among the world’s top-rated hotels. The award was announced this week during the inaugural MICHELIN Guide Global Hotels Ceremony at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

The MICHELIN Keys are the hotel equivalent of the famous MICHELIN Stars for restaurants and highlight global recognition of excellence within the hospitality sector. Worldwide, there are only 143 hotels with Three Keys, 572 with Two Keys and 1,742 with One Key, located in extraordinary settings: from desert tents and glass cubes in forests, to historic riads and modern towers. The recognition underlines that De L’Europe excels in the four evaluation criteria used by MICHELIN: local experience, architecture & interior design, service & personality, and value for money.
