Wolfi Pictures is a dynamic storytelling production company founded by Bracha van Doesburgh and Daan Schuurmans. Driven by a shared passion for compelling narratives, the company develops and produces engaging film and television projects, reflecting their dedication to the art of storytelling.
Bracha and Daan are celebrated Dutch actors whose extensive experience in cinema and television informs their work behind the camera. Daan, a Toneelacademie Maastricht graduate, has appeared in productions including Bernhard, Schavuit van Oranje, De Maatschap, and Costa-Gavras’ Adults in the Room, which premiered at the Venice International Film Festival. Bracha, a former model and Amsterdam Toneelschool alumna, has starred in films such as Het Schnitzelparadijs and Faithfully Yours. Together, they lead Wolfi Pictures, a name inspired by Milos Forman’s Amadeus, with the ‘wolf’ symbolising the call to share stories, reflecting their commitment to creating thrilling and inspiring cinematic experiences.
