From the airport there is also a Connexxion Hotel Shuttle bus leaving every 30 minutes at the bus station in front of the airport. This shuttle (17.50 euro per person) will pass by all the major hotels, hence you will arrive in approximately 60 minutes here at our hotel. Please be informed, that the driver should be asked to stop at De L’Europe Amsterdam.
Trains run every 15 minutes between the airport and Amsterdam Central Station. This ride takes 17 minutes, and costs 4.30 euro. Train tickets can be arranged at the ticket machines in the Arrival Hall of the airport. From Amsterdam Central Station the most convenient way is to take the brand-new North-South metro line (nr. 52,stop: Rokin) or tram 4 & 24 (stop: Muntplein). The journey from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel takes 10 minutes, including a 1-minute walk.
How do I adjust or cancel my reservation?
You can cancel or adjust your reservation via this link or you may contact us by e-mail or via the phone. Please keep the cancellation policy of your booking into account when adjusting/cancelling your reservation. Cancellation of a reservation is free of charge if hotel receives notification by 3pm, one day (24 hours) prior to the arrival date. Please note that this is not applicable to non-refundable rates
Can I request a late check-out and/or early check-in?
A late check-out or early check-in are available subject to availability. Be sure to inform our Reservations team of all requests so it can be noted for our team to do the utmost in servicing all requests. To guarantee a late check-out or early check-in, a supplement of 50% of the latest room night rate is required. When guaranteed, you are allowed to extend the stay until 6pm or check-in early from 3pm onwards at the prior day.
Why do I receive a payment link prior to my stay?
If you have booked a stay at De L’Europe Amsterdam with a non-refundable rate, we send you a payment link right after your booking to confirm your reservation. This payment link is sent, because the rate offers you a discount but requires payment at the time of booking. Therefore, it is not possible to cancel or modify your reservation without charges. The payment link is valid for 24 hours.
What are the payment methods of De L’Europe Amsterdam?
Cash and all major credit card payments are accepted. We accept Apple Pay from the 1st of January 2020 onwards.
What is the payment policy of De L’Europe?
A credit card guarantee is required for all room reservations. Upon arrival the card may be pre-authorized for room charges and incidentals. The pre-authorizations consist of the rate of the room nights plus an amount of 150 euro per night, up to a maximum of 450 euro. The pre-authorization will be released at check-out.
If you prefer to pay your booking upon arrival in cash, the payment of your room nights plus the supplement of 150 euro per room night (up to a maximum of 450 euro) will be asked as deposit. The unused portion of the deposit will be refunded at checkout. If the charges exceed the amount of the deposit, a supplement to the deposit will be requested during the stay. It is not possible to complete the payment of your stay upon departure.
